Workshop55 and Nederburg tastemakers food and wine collaboration
South Africa’s leading tastemakers and celebrities were invited to experience a decadent menu that was paired with selected Nederburg Heritage Heroes Collection wines.
Workshop55 chef Alexander Webber personally introduced dishes to guests, while Nederburg wine ambassador Chris de Klerk and brand ambassador Walter Carrington Palk also provided insight into the brand’s signature wines.
The menu at the tastemakers evening included dishes such as octopus with hickory smoke, cauliflower puree, truffle, squid ink mayonnaise, pickled radish, and beef sirloin with edamame beans.
Finishing off the mains were delightful desserts including white chocolate and olive blondies with white chocolate mousse, olive sprinkle and lime gel.
